Operating NachoWay Equipment

Disassembly & Cleaning

1. Unplug the hopper lamp cord(s) and remove the hopper lid(s).

2. Depress the hopper lock plunger, lift slightly.

3. Pull the hopper assembly forward and remove.

4. Pull the auger from the cooling drum.

5. Remove the hopper seal from the flange on the cooling drum.

6. Spread one side of handle first and then the other side. Remove handle from faucet.

7. Slide faucet up and remove from hopper. Remove spring and faucet seal from the back side of the faucet.

8. Remove the auger nose busing from inside the hopper.

9. Remove the drip tray and cover.

10. Filter on back should be removed and thoroughly cleaned at least once per month. Failure to do so can cause machine to stop freezing properly.

11. Place all parts and seals into dishwashing sink with mild-hot water sanitizer solution. Allow all parts/seals to soak in sanitizer solution for at least five minutes. Wash all parts thoroughly with soft cloth and/or brush if needed. Pay close attention to faucet, seal, and front of hopper. Ensure that any slush syrup is cleaned and removed. Do not submerse hopper lids.

12. Thoroughly wash and rinse all surfaces on machine with a clean wash cloth that has been dampened with hot water. Wipe dry with a clean dry wash cloth before reassembling.

Note: Although most parts are dishwasher safe, they may be affected by the chemicals in some commercial sanitizing agents. Do not place the hopper lids in a dishwasher. Rinse thoroughly before assembly.
